Owners, John and Casie Frala, have been in the hunting/outfitting business for several years. We both worked for an outfitter (which is how we met). When we started dating, we decided to take what we had learned in the business (especially what not to do!), and open our own outfitting business. Trophy Taker Outfitters immediately took off, and continues to grow every year. We live on our family farm that has been in Casie’s family for more than 120 years. We have 2 teenage kids that live at home, and are very active in our businesses, church and community. We also built and own a small café in town. Casie cooks and serves lunch to the locals Monday-Friday.

Trophy Taker Outfitters is located north of Leonard in Northeast Missouri, 1 hour west of the Illinois state line and 1.5 hours south of the Iowa state line. The landscape is mostly flat, corn and soybean fields with wooded draws, and some big timber. We lease exclusive hunting rights from local landowners.
