Guides & Owners

                 John Frala

           Head guide/Owner

John has been in the outdoor industry for over 20 years. He has a true passion for getting clients on all kinds of trophies from giant whitetails to monster spoonbill. John has worked with several outfitters in many states, and knows how to treat you right.

He and Casie met while working for another outfitter, and decided to open their own business in 2015. We were married in 2016. We have two kids. You will see both of us every day while you're in camp.

                               Brian Dorsey

Dorsey started as a client with us 6 years ago and become family over the years. He started guiding for us in the 2021 season. He is from Pennsylvania, but makes several trips throughout the year to Missouri. He knows what it takes to kill a mature Missouri whitetail. He is the jokester of the bunch and we can assure you he will have a nickname for you before you leave camp.

Dorsey is married to his high school sweetheart and they have two children. He is the owner of Dorsey Construction out of Shippensburg, PA. He does a lot of behind the scenes work with building and repairing things in the lodge, our show booth, cafe and in the woods.

Casie Frala

Owner/Cook

Casie started out running lodges for another outfitter. She loves the outdoors and loves to serve people and God. She started out as a guide and cook when they opened Trophy Taker Outfitters, but after opening their cafe in town, another guide was hired. This allows Casie to focus on chasing their very busy teenagers and cooking/operating their cafe. When needed, she may guide some clients. Casie prepares hot, homemade meals every night and serves them buffet style to the clients.
